Bowl season again
OK, swiping from vegasinsider.com
here are the first bowl games. I can't say anything about Grambling State v NC Central but have a few other comments.
Gildan New Mexico Bowl
UT-San Antonio v New Mexico
Lobos should win but 9.5 is rich. 7.5 is rich too. I bet UT-SA + 7.5 and doubled down with +9.5
I like this pick a lot.

Las Vegas Bowl
Houston v San Diego State
Interesting matchup. I see Houston a slight favorite but I'm going to take the Aztecs and 4.5. Houston is on a new coach & not sure if they can fully set up for the Pumphrey assault. I hate low point underdogs and have very little confidence.

Camellia Bowl
Appalachian State v Toledo
The spread moved from Toledo - 2 to App State -1.5 due to injury news. I opened favoring App State plus points, but Toledo +1 at gametime is attractive. I don't bet this one, but if I did early I'd have Appalachian State, and if I made my decision today, I'd take Toledo.

Arkansas State v Central Florida
Another one with a moderate shift from open to gametime.
Like above, no bet. Just too close.
I would have Ark. State on the books, but take Central Florida at gametime.

Southern Miss v Louisiana-Lafayette
With Nixon out, odds moved 4 points to Southern Miss. Don't like this one either.
I would have it Southern Miss -2 but at gametime odds, I like L-Laf + 6.

Armed Forces Bowl: Navy v La Tech is hard with Will Worth out - I think Navy is still the better team but it's hard to bet this one. I took LaTech +5 at the open but I like Navy +5.5 now.
Dollar General Bowl:
Ohio +4 v Troy. No bet but gun to head I'd pick Troy.

No bet - there's no real line here.

Quicklane Bowl: No Bet. Would take Maryland +2 but line is now BC +1
Independence Bowl: Vanderbilt +4 but I don't really like this one much.

Military Bowl: Wake Forest + 12 v Temple
Holiday Bowl: WSU -4.5. Line has shifted to -9.5 on maybe Minnesota boycott or whatever.

Russell Athletic Bowl: West Virginia +3 v Miami. No bet. But might take the points.
Foster Farms Bowl: Utah -6.5 v Indiana. I'd give 9 so am pretty happy.

Orange Bowl: Florida State +7 v Michigan. No bet. Slight preference for FSU +7 but I like Michigan to win...

Rose Bowl: Penn State +7.5 v USC
Sugar Bowl: Auburn +5 v Oklahoma. but I kind of like Oklahoma.
